The importance of Fire Safety Training within a care home
With the vulnerability of people in care, the need for appropriate and well-planned fire evacuation procedures is essential. It is the legal duty of the management of the care home facilities to reduce the risk of fire by ensuring all members of staff understand the possible dangers.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that employers provide adequate fire awareness training to all members of staff regardless of the number of employees.
