We offer courses that are specifically tailored to all levels of factory and warehouse workers. Our courses aim to educate about fire safety procedures and awareness within the workplace so that your business can meet legal requirements outlined in The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

1st Attendance can deliver training onsite at your premises, or at a location of your choosing. The sessions for factory and warehouse workers can be broken down into training for particular levels of employees, or we can train all of your staff at the same time

All employees that complete our sessions receive training certificates outlining details of the course. Upon completion, a certificate will also be issued to the workplace, which can be stored with your fire safety risk assessment documents.

The detailed course is split into theory and practical sessions. During the theory session, employees learn about fire risk assessments, fire hazards within the workplace, and the true damage that can be caused. Our course leaders will also talk them through the different types of fire and which extinguisher is appropriate for use in different scenarios.

There will also be a practical session where individuals can put out real controlled fires with appropriate extinguishers, and are shown how to use fire blankets on smaller outbreaks.

The potential damage a fire could cause in a factory of warehouse can be devastating to a business. Lost stock and damage to property potentially prevents a business from recovering. Fire awareness and safety training is a proven way to prevent an outbreak from occurring.

If you need training for your warehouse or factory premises, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Along with our bespoke course, we also have a number of other courses that are suited for new members of your team, or individuals requiring refresher training.
